BRIDAL COUPLE MOBBED.

SCENES AT LONDON CHURCH.

Received December 13, 1.35 p.m. LONDON, Dec. 12.

Silk hatted and smoking a cigar, Mr AVinston Churchill accompanied his daughter to St. Margaret’s, AVestmin.ster, to marry Mr John Bailey, son of the South African millionaire, Sir Abe Bailey. The church was crowded, the notable guests including many Ministers.

The bridal couple, on leaving, were greeted with terrific cheering. Thousands broke the police cordon and rushed forward. The couple fled by a path alongside the church, twice entering a cul de sac in their efforts to avoid the crowd. They were finally surrounded by hundreds of cheering women and had to wait while mounted police cleared a path for their motor car.
