TERRACE END v. TAKARO.

In a friendly inter-club series yesterday afternoon, the Terrace End and Takaro Bowling Clubs each won a game. Playing at Terrace End, the homo side, Helsby, Toogood, Jones, Snell (skip) 18 beat Takaro (Russell, Smith, Cooksley, Tantrum skip) 17. At the Takaro green Takaro (Ball, Christensen, Tanner, A. Smith skip) 18, beat Terrace End (Mann, Bell, Dixon, Moffatt skip) 12. PALMERSTON NORTH v. MANAWATU.

The Palmerston North and Manawatu Clubs each played a game on the other’s green, each winning one. At the Palmerston North green, Palmerston North (Moxon, Giorgi, Simmonds, Boon skip) 25, beat Manawatu (Robertson, Jackson, Inglis, Carlisle skip), 13. Playing at home, -Manawatu (Chilton, Gough, Andrews, Radford skip) 26, beat Palmerston North (Wilkinson, Barrett, Wilson, Bayliss skip), 20.

BULLS BEAT NORTHERN. Four rinks from the Northern Club paid a return visit to Bulls during the afternoon, the home team being successful in winning three games out of four. Results were as follow, Bulls rinks being mentioned first: Colden 25 v. Bennett 10, Walker 18 v. Stiles 16, Stevens 19 v. Robinson 28, Drew 22’ v. Rabone 20.

NORTHERN v. TERRACE END.

Northern wiil be engaged in an evening game with Terrace End on Friday, and will be represented by the following rinks: —Bryce, Stableford, Kirk, Moxon (skip), Dickel, • Valentine,- G. Mills, Rabone (skip), llanson, Johnson, McKee, Teale (skip), Lynch, Thirtle, Young, Bryan (skip).
