BAPTIST SOCIAL.
On Wednesday last, a social evening, arranged by the Social Committee of the Baptist Christian Endeavour Society, was held in the Sunday School Hall. A good number of the members of the society and friends spent a very pleasant time in games, competitions, charades and items. The duties of M.O. were carried out • by Mr C. Grover. During the evening, male quartettes were rendered by Messrs Caieb Carr, Mr Currin, L. Rushbrook and I. Shearer. A delicious novelty supper was served, after which games were continued, and later, the evening was brought to a close with Auld Lang Syne.
