AINSLIE SHIELD MATCH. The Ainslie Shield changed hands yesterday afternoon, when the Terrace End Club beat the holders, Manawatu, by 10 points on the aggregate. The rinks skipped by Dixon and Barnes drew 19—19, and the result of the game between Skinner’s and King’s rinks decided the match. The details are as follow : —Terrace End : Knowles. Collier, Helsby, Skinner (skip) 24, beat Manawatu: D. Low, Bates, Radford, King (skip) 14. Terrace End: Bee, Evans, Boys, Dixon (skip) 19, drew with Manawatu: Oxenham, Porter, Inglis, Barnes (skip) 19. INTER-CLUB RINKS. The Manawatu Club will be represented by the following rinks against Palmerston North in friendly interclub games on Saturday:—At Palmerston North: Mason, Robertson, McDonald, Radford (skip). At Manawatu: Oxenham, Porter, Inglis, Kershaw (skip).
