FREE LABOUR AT WANGANUI. Per Press Association. WANGANUI, Nov. 23. The overseas liner Tasmania arrived, last evening from New Plymouth to load cargo, including frozen meat. A call for watersiders met with no response and the crew of the steamer refused to handle the meat. This morning free labour was engaged to load the lighters and file steamer and work is proceeding.
