GIRL STOWAWAY RELEASED.

Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Nov. 23. Marion Bell, the 19-year-old Sydney girl who went to gaol yesterday because she was una.ble to pay the £lO fine inflicted for stowing away on the Mariposa, was released to-day. The Magistrate said that, he had directed that she be brought before him again. Yesterday he did not know what to do with her, but the Salvation Army had kindly offered to take her until she could be returned to Sydney. In reply to a question the girl said she had enough of prison last night to last her a lifetime.
