FEILDING STOCK SALE.
HEAVY CATTLE YARDING. About 2600 head of cattle of mixed sorts came forward at the annual fair in Feilding to-day, the representation of young stock being heavy. The trttendance was good and sales opened at fair values, some pens of well forward animals making good values. Far sheep were yarded in heavy supply and receded in price about Is per head from last week’s rates. Prices up to 1 p.m. were as follow: Sheep. —Fat ewes: 7s 2d, 7s 6d, 7s 9d 8s Id, 9s, 10s 6d; fat shorn wethers, 10s 9d, 11s, 12s; woolly do., 15s; fat hoggets, 11s 3d to 11s Bd. Cattle. —Three and four-year mixed bullocks, £2 16s, £3 3s, £3 14s, £4 2s to £4 11s; four year P.A. bullocks, £3 14s, £3 18s, £4, £4 8s to £4 18s; three-year P.A. steers, £2 14s 6d.
