MALAYAN QUESTIONS.

DISCUSSION WITH RULERS. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Sept. 27. Brigadier-General Sir Samuel Wilson, Permanent Under-Secretary for the Colonies, is proceeding to Malaya on October 20 at the instance of the Colonial Secretary to discuss with the High Commissioner, rulers, and other representative persons, proposals to decentralise certain public services, so that the Government in the United Kingdom may have the fullest information at first hand of all aspects of the matter. . . .

Sir Samuel will he accompanied by Mr G. Gent, of the Colonial Office. It is not expected he will return to England before the end of January.
