PRICES FOR WOOL.

SALES IN SYDNEY.

SUBSTANTIAL RISE EXPECTED.

SYDNEY, Aug. 28. The indications point to prices at the wool sales opening at Sydney on Monday showing a rise of 20 per cent, above the June rates. This idea is based on recent private sales and the possibility of the clip being light in many areas owing to the dry weather. It is believed China will buy 400,000 bales of wool this season.
