From Our Own Correspondent.) FOXTON", Aug. 29. Mr and Mrs R. Frow left Foxton this morning to take up their residence in New Plymouth. Mr John Andrew, an old and respected resident of Foxton. passed away in the Palmerston North Hospital last evening. Miss G. MacMillan, of Dannevirke, is the guest of Mr and Mrs J. K. Hornbiow.

Foxton juniors, winners of the northern Rugby competition this season, who annexed the district competition by defeating Kuku at Levin last- week in the North v. South match, had the latter victory wrested from them on Saturday when the match was replayed owing to protest lodged by Kuku being upheld by the union.
