MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING. (From Our Own Correspondent). SANDON, Aug. 27. A toam from the Ohakea Club fired a match at Sanson on Friday night against tho local team, the coveted McKelvio Cup being competed for. Sandon retained the cup bv a margin of 6 points. The shouting of tho homo team was consistent, and had it not been for a shot on tho target, tho total would have been 1093. This misfortune was compensated for with ono of tho Ohakea team doing tho same thing. The Ohakea skipper, Mr J. Simpson, put on a double possible. being closely followed by H. Hill with 139. Tho visitors were entertained at supper after tho shoot. Mr Simpson returned thanks on behalf of tho visiting team and Mr P. Gedyo responded.
