SELECTION OF TEAM. possibles v. Probables. Tho selectors (Messrs R. L. C. Aitchison and A. E. Blnekbourn) lruvo selected the following hockey team to play, a Possible v. Prohahlo match on Wednesday next with a view to finally choosing ii team to represent Alanawatn against Wnnganui in defence of tlio Winter Shield on September 7:— Possibles (green and white). —Goal, A. Wal'd; full hacks, Pratt arid Blummont; halves, Scott flunsen (capt.), Harris; forwards: Turner, O’Brien, Vaughan, Palcnski, Mai Smith. R. Hoaro is not available for further representative selection this season. Probables (white).—Goal, G. Blair; full-backs, Sutton and Ensor; linlvcs, Brers, K. Borne, McClelland; forwards, Nesbit. Wood, Lundy (enpt.), Morgan, I>. Hoare. Emergency forwards, either team.— Gilbert, Smith; back, J. Eckersly.
