CHEERFUL TONE CONTINUES
(British Official AYireless.) RUGBY, Aug. 24. Despite the usually slack Holiday season, a cheerful tone continued to characterise the London Stock Exchange to-day. One feature was the renewed strength of textiles, while base metals and other commodities were also strong.
