NEW ZEALAND TOURING TEAM
MELBOURNE, Aug. 22
The New Zealand hockey team played the combined Australian universities at the Melbourne University Oval to-day. The New Zealand halves backed up splendidly and scored four goals before Universities had goaled. Bay was in excellent form for New Zealand. The final scores were; New Zealand, 7; Universities. 1. Goals for New Zealand were scored by Bay (four), Bollard, Anthony and Best (one ea.cli).
