BUNNYTHORPE BEAT C. AND C. At the Sportsground oval Bunnythorpe secured a victory over C. and C. by two goals to nil. It was a hard game in which C. and C- showed a weak forward line. There was a monotony about the number of times they sent the ball behind the Bunnythorpe’s net and the only time it went in was from outside the circle. Both teams were willing, but Bunnythorpe were superior, mainly by reason of their strong defence. In tire first half Miss W. Ranson scored and in the second. Miss N. Lee. Messrs Leeson and Tozer were the referees. RONGOTEA BEAT H.S.O.G.

High School Old Girls, the other city team, also suffered defeat by a narrow margin, at Rongotea. Only one goal was scored, this being gained by Rongotea after a hard tussle.
