Referring to a paragraph which appeared a tew days ago in which mention was made of a goat with a horn spread of 84 inches, Mr 11. Whitehead, of Pohangina Valley, states that some years ago he found a goat in the Ruahino Ranges with a horn spread of 40 inches.
