MILSON.
(From Our Own Correspondent.)
MILSON, Alay 17. Mr E. T. Nicholson, of Leeds Street, has been advised by the Railways Department of his appointment to the position of signalman at Woodville and will leave early next week to take up his new duties. Mrs H. Carter, of Inglewood, is spending a short holiday at Milson. Tho request made by tho Milson Progressive Association to tho Railway Department for repairs to be effected to the roads in the settlement has mot with a ready response. During tho past week tho department’s lorry has been engaged carrying shingle, and a gang of men engaged in filling in pqtholes and remetalling the roads at the intersections. Tho improvement is very marked.
