In fatal and other street accidents last year London and Glasgow showed a decrease on 1930, while Birmingham, Liverpool and Manchester showed an increase. Statistics show that, barring accidents, a child of 10 to-day may expect to live another 50 years, at 21 the expectation of life is 45 more years, and at 40, 28 more years.
