FOXTON.
(From Our Own Corresopndent.) FOXTON, April 20. Mrs R. Owen, who hae been on a visit to Auckland, returned to Foxton yesterday. At the annual meeting of householders held in the District High School this week, Mr F. A. Mason, tho hoadmaster, gave an interesting resume of the activities of the school during tho past twelve months. In addition he also made a comprehensive review of proposals which have been made recently with regard to reducing public expenditure on education, which was listened to with interest.
