WOODVILLE.
WOODVILLE, April 18. On Saturday the Woodvillo Golf Club officially opened its season. Mr G. Peebles the president, welcomed tho players and stated that tho links had never been in better order, and with tho number of now members ho felt sure tho club would experience a very successful season. A Canadian mixed foursome was played, tho following scores boing handed in:— T. Finer and Mrs King, 49 —19—30; M. Pickering and Mrs Ryburn, 53—22—31; R. Johnstone and Mis 3 Patterson, 57—25—32; H. Lager and Miss E. Peebles, 49—16—33; G. Doggett and Miss J. Davies, 60—26 34; J. Elder and Miss Staco, 56—19—37; R. Peebles and Mrs Rofo, 55—18—37; D. Peebles and Miss I. Staco, 64—26—38; W.
