CLAIM BY COMPANY

WELLINGTON, April" 6'.' Questioned to-day regarding a report that the Radio Broadcasting Company was claiming a largo sum in addition to the £58,646 recently awarded to the company for tho stations taken over, Hon. A. Hamilton, tho Post-master-General, said he was not aware that legal proceedings were being taken against the Government for a portion of the license fees, but he understood a legal difference had arisen between the company and tho Government in respect of a claim by tho company for interest on a portion of the license fees for tlio current year.
