FLOODS IN VICTORIA. HEAVY LOSS OF STOCK. ” • Received April 6, 9.20 a.m. MELBOURNE, April 6. The floods in tho Darrimaii and Giffard areas are still serious. Seven inches of rain fell in the latter area in five hours. Fencing has been washed away for miles, and the loss of stock is heavy.
