ANOTHER STORM IN SYDNEY. LOW-LYING AREAS FLOODED. VIVID LIGHTNING. i (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received April 6, 9.20 a.m. SYDNEY, April 6. A violent storm against struck tho city and suburbs last night, and lowlying areas were soon flooded again. Vivid lightning lit the sky. Passengers on an electric train at Stanmore had a bad scare when what appeared to bo a fireball burnt oyer the train. The tram services were interrupted owing to the rails being flooded. FLOODS IN VICTORIA. HEAVY LOSS OF STOCK. ” • Received April 6, 9.20 a.m. MELBOURNE, April 6. The floods in tho Darrimaii and Giffard areas are still serious. Seven inches of rain fell in the latter area in five hours. Fencing has been washed away for miles, and the loss of stock is heavy.
