, MANAWATU CLUB. The Manawatu Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club conducted a meeting at the Snortsground last evening. Ther© was a good attendance of spectators and the races were keenly contested. The results of tli© events were as follow: A grade, half-mile—Mutch 1, Casey 2, Astin 3. , A grade, two miles. —Casey 1, Mutch 2, McKenzie 3. „ , B grade, one mile. —Gardner 1, Halpin 2, Lawrence 3. B grade, three miles.—Lawrence 1, Gardner 2, Walker 3. Boys’ race.—Goldfinch 1, Pritchard 2. CYCLING HANDICAPS. The following are the handicaps declared by Messrs P. Griffen and T.
