GERMAN TARIFF.
COMMERCIAL AGREEMENTS SOUGHT. BERLIN, Feb. 20. The proposed new “super tariff” is described as being aimed at Australia and others whose rates are prohibitive. The objective is to force such countries into commercial agreements with Germany. The right to apply the tariff was conferred by an emergency decree on January 18.
