Taylor is at present representing tho Otaki Methodist Church at the conference now sitting in Christchurch. Rev. T T. Wong, Chinese missioner, is at present in Otaki,.the guest of Rev. and Mrs G. K. Moir. Mr J. Board, of Waipukurau, has joined the Bank cf New Zealand staff 'at Otaki, in place of Mr G. McNaughton, who has been transferred to Waipukurau. Although the weather was threatening early in the day on Wednesday it proved to be fine in the afternoon, and the garden party held by the Otaki Plunket Society was therefore well attended. The arrangements, thanks to an energetic committee, of which Mrs Buckrell was a most capable secretary, worked splendidly.
