OPEN-AIR GYMNASTICS.

For the past week the boys and girls attending the Feilding Agricultural High School have been engaged in jl course of open-air drill, the boys at military drill and exercises and the girls at physical training, life-saving, swiinniing, wand drill and dancing. Sergt.-Major J. Rvan, of the New Zealand Defence Force, has been assisting the officers at the school with' the training 6 fthe boys, while Miss Fuller and Miss- McKenzie, school mistresses,, have, had the capable help of Miss Dummer with the girls. Parents of the pupils' have already had the opportunity of witnessing their children going through the evolutions of their drill and have been much impressed with the grace, charm and rhythm of the folk danoes taught the girls.
