EVENTS AT INVERCARGILL. Per Press Association. INVERCARGILL, Feb. 20. The Southland air pageant opened today in fine, but windy, weather. Twenty-five ’planes, piloted by the bestknown aviators in the Dominion, are participating. The landing competition was won by D. Campbell (Otago). M. S. Metcham (Wellington) was second, and E. Lixerton (Wairarapa) 3. The heats in the Aerial Derby were flown this morning.
