AIR' MAIL TRAGEDY
DUTCH ’PLANE OVERTURNS
FIVE PEOPLE KILLED
COLONEL BRISMEAD INJURED. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received December 7, 9.40 a.m. SINGAPORE, Dec. 7. The Dutch Air Mail overturned when leaving Donmuang, Siam, on the way home. Five people were killed. Colonel Brinsmead, Director of Civil Aviation in Australia, who was a passenger, suffered concussion and bro Ken ribs. His condition on Sunday night had improved since the morning. The ’plane failed to rise and struck an embankment. A wheel came off, and the machine overturned in a paddy field.
