QUESTION OF REHABILITATION
Per Press Association. NAPIER. Dec. 7
Mr Alowlem, S.AL, chairman of the Napier Licensing Committee, expressed dissatisfaction to-day with the progress of the rehabilitation of the Napier hotels destroyed in the earthquake and fire. “We seem to be up against an undamaged brick wall, as not one brick has been placed on another toward rebuilding the Alasonic, Criterion, Provincial and Central Hotels.” The, Alagistrate adjourned the annual meeting until the next quarter, when the committee will be faced with the possibility of refusing licenses to tlie hotels named if nothing has been done.
