ARTICLES FROM AEROPLANE.

INCIDENT AT PAHIATUA. Captain McGregor, of Hamilton, when on his way to the air pageant being held at Palmerston North to-day, landed at Pahiatua after flying from Masterton. After circling the town several times he located the landing ground on Mr T. Mexted’s property and came down. A short time later he went aloft again alone to do a series of stunts. He climbed steadily over the town to 3000 feet and then did two loops and a turn. He started on a downward spin when suddenly the iru terested spectators below saw a shower of dark objects tumble out of the plane (states the Pahiatua Herald). Captain McGregor ceased his stunting and it soon became evident that he had had a mishap of some kind. It appears that the lip flew off his tool box and all the gear tumbled out. Spanners, a grease gun, a helmet, rope, and tarpaulin were tossed out and either floated or fell quickly to earth, being scattered in gardens and on the roofs of houses all over tho north end of the town. A falling spanner severed a telephone wire. Captain McGregor later resumed his flight to Palmerston North.
