AGUA CALIENTE HANDICAP
AN INTERNATIONAL AFFAIR
Received December 2, 10.45 a.m. VANCOUVER, Dec. 1. The Agua Caliente Handicap, of £20,000, folr which the entries have closed, promises to be an international affair.
Phar Lap and Marine, the outstanding Canadian thoroughbred, are among the nominations, and fifty others include Dr. Freeland, the recent conqueror of Malta, Reveile Boy, the winner of the American Derby, of £IO,OOO, Vanderpool, who has won fifteen consecutive races, and Alexander Pantages, who was second last year and third the previous year in the Agua Caliente Handicap. Others are Plucky Play, Spanish Play, Wotan and Sunfire.
