TAX PAYMENTS MADE. WASHINGTON, Nov. 29. The Department of Internal Revenue has reported that two married women and six men each with incomes of over 5,000,000 dollars, paid more income tax this year than. a total of 2,613,165 persons each earning below 5000 dollars. The names are not revealed of the eight largest moneymakers, whose total net income amounted to 122,634,419 dollars. The report indicates that married women’s incomes generally are greater than those of unmarried women?

Three persons earned from 4,000,000 to 5,000,000 dollars. Seven earned from 3,000,000 to 4,000,000, and 21 between 2,000,000 and 3,000,000, while 149 earned more than 1,000,000. The total returns were 52 per cent, below those of the previous year.
