CYCLE ROAD RACING.
DANNEVIRKE-TAKAPAU EVENT. Per Press Association. DANNEVIRKE, Oct. 26. The fifty-mile cycle race, Dannevirke to Takapau and back, resulted as follows:—I. Driscoll (Dannevirke) 1, H. AV. Archibald (Marton) 2, M. F. Hunt (Marton) 3, D. Patterson (Dannevirke) 4. The fastest time was made by H. A. Rogers (Palmerston North) 2 hours 15 minutes 16 seconds. Hunt was second fastest, 2 hours 22 minutes 22 seconds.
