DOMESTIC TRAGEDY
MELBOURNE, Aug. 14. A domestic tragedy w r as discovered at Footscray to-day. Mrs Sarah McDonald, aged 33, was found dead in a cottage in w r hich she lived with George Webster, aged 35, a quarryman. Her head was horribly battered. Webster’s body was found in the engine-room of a quarry, his head having been blown off with gelignite. Neighbours say that the woman had threatened to leave Webster and return to her home at Deniliquin.
