The Parents’ Association of the Palmerston North Boys’ High School will hold a dnnco at the P.D.C. restaurant on Thursday next. Dancing commences at 8 p.m. and continues till 1 a.m. The Labour Committee will hold a 500 tournament on Monday, August 17, in the Committee Hall, situated on the corner of Ferguson and Ada Streets, entrance Ad* Street, Patrons wilt bo sure of an enjoyable evening. The price of admission has been fixed at Is and play will commence at 8 p.m. sharp.
