IDLE MINERS.
HELP FROM AUSTRALIA. Received August 6, 11.0 a.m. SYDNEY, July 6. The Central Council of the Miner’s Federation, at a meeting, decided to do everything possible to assist the mem-, bers of organisations who are involved in the dispute in New Zealand. It was pointed out that approximately 40 per cent of the total membership in the Dominion had been thrown idle.
