LONDON CHILDREN.
PLAYGROUND FACILITIES. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, July 29. Lord Riddell and Sir Elmsley Carr, two noted newspaper proprietors, have jointly promised £21,000 toward the fund for maintaining the well-known Foundling site at Bloomsbury as a playground and welfare centre for children, conditional on the raising of £26,000, which is still required to complete the scheme. Already £40,000 ha 6 been subscribed.
