MANAWATU CLUB. To-morrow th© Manawatu Golf Club’s July medal competition will -be played at the Hokowliitu links, in conjunction with the second qualifying round of the club championship and the second rounds respectively of the Nathan and “35” Cups. BUNNYTHORPE CLUB. Last week-end the captain v. president match bv tiro Bunnytliorpe Golf Club was postponed owing to the small attendance of members, no doubt due to the inclemency of the weather. An interesting medal match was played, the winners of the club trophies being Miss A. Rutledge, with a net score of 74, and T. O’Donnell, with a net score of 71. These results were excellent considering the adverse weather conditions. To-mor-row the Kimbolton Club will play a return match on the local links and all members should bo at the club ho.use by 1 p.m. Arrangements are in hand for a Saturday match v. ltangiwaliia at Rangiwahia and players able to make the journey should leave their names with the president or the captain.
