FALSE STATEMENT.
FARAI LABOURER FINED. Per Press Association. TIMARU, July 2. Tn Lho Alagistrate’s Court to-dav, Matthew Joseph O’Driscoll, a farm labourer, was lined £5 on a charge of attempting to obtain 30s from tire Unemployment Board by falsely stating that Michael John O’Driscoll, a farmer, by whom lie was employed, was not his father. The charge against the father of aiding and abetting the son in the commission of the offence was dismissed.
