MAGISTRATE’S COURT.

CHARGE OF BIGAMY. Before Mr J. L. Stout, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court to-day, William Hugh Henry Arthur Ryder, alias Arthur William Smythe, aged 29, a painter and labourer, was charged with the offence of bigamy in that he allegedly went through a farm of marriage at Wellington on November 21, 1930, he being then married. On the application of Detective Russell accused was remanded to appear at Palmerston North on July 1.
