A boycott followed, and tho distributor company was compelled to comply. The Government retaliated by introducing a bill entitled: “Unlawful cleteimination of prices,” which prohibits refusal to supply petrol, and the fixation of price. A supplementary clause empowers the Government to extend provisions of the measure to other commodities.

The bill; has caused a tremendous stir.
