MUNICIPAL BUILDINGS.

INSPECTION BY GOVERNMENT ARCHITECT. Following representations to the Government by the Palmerston North City Council, the Government architect, Mr J. T. Mair, visited Palmerston North to-day and carried out an inspection of the old portion of the Municipal Buildings which was vacated owing to fears of damage following the big earthquake in February, as a result of which cracks appeared in parts of the structure.
