CANADA’S DEFENCE.
ECONOAIY AIEASURE. OTTAWA, April 16. All the summer training camps for units of the non-permanent active militia of Canada have been cancelled for a year in view of the cut in the defence estimates last year. Some 35.000 militia men were trained in these camps for from ten to twelve days. Two of the air mail routes in Eastern Canada have been cancelled by the Post Office Department as economy measures.
