ALL SAINTS’ CHURCH.
YOUNG MEN’S SOCIETY. The annual meeting of the Young men’s Club of All Saints’ Church was held this week when there was a large attendance of members. It was stated that there is a bright outlook for the future of the club. Various alterations have been made in the constitution to facilitate the better running of the club. The election of officers resulted as follows: —President, Canon G. Y. Woodward; vice-presidents, assisting clergy of the All Saints’ parish, also Rev. J. C. Albott, Messrs Monrad, Bagnall, Robinson and Arlidge; secretary, Mr T. Arlidge; committee, Messrs Moxon, Puklowski. R. Dawick, V. Dawick and Wilkin. GIRLS’ CLUB. The annual meeting of the Girls’ Club was held last evening when Canon G. Y. Woodward presided over an enthusiastic gathering. Miss Harwood, the secretary reported that the past year had been a most successful one from all points of view, the members having taken an active participation in all branches of the club. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows: President, Canon G. Y. Woodward; vice-presidents, Messrs Monrad and Bagnall (church wardens); secretary, Miss Harwood; committee, Misses Brown, -Mercer, K. and M. Richards, Ball, J. Woodward and I. Varcoe.
