RUGBY FOOTBALL.
With Anzac Day intervening to-morrow week and the opening of the Rugby seafion set down for May 2, local clubs will have hut to-morrow left to them to try out their available playing strength and the day will find friendly and practice matches being indulged in. The United Club is taking the opportunity of sending a team down to Levin, the bu 3 leaving from the Public Library corner at one o’clock, when the following will make the trip: Ormond (3), Kells (2), Alason, Burchall, iearnley, Evans, Nicholls, Robb, Nesbit, A 1 lies ’ Shearman, Piercey and Berriman. iho lower grades of the same club will, practice at Park Road grounds at two o. clock. The following will represent Old Bojs v. High School at tho school grounds at 1.30 sharp: Thomas, Oliver, Kyle, Alanderson, Waugh, O’Farrell, Pope, Richardson, Quirke, Ramsay, Riddell, Aiurray, Sweetnian, Sheriffs, Aloore. vfarson, McMinn, Haywood, Wilby. All other third grade players must attend as teams will be selected.
