TERRIFIC IMPACT. A B IDER~ARRESTED. Per Press Association. THAMES, April 11. With a terrific impact, two motor cycles collided on the Thames-Kopu Road yesterday, resulting in the admission to hospital of Lionel Thomas Young, of Ponsonby, Auckland. He is in a critical condition. The police this morning arrested the other rider, William Farmer Scott, a farm hand, of Matatoki, and charged him with negligent driving. He was remanded for a week.
