Of ninety-nine country wheat silos, fifty-one that are full are being rationed with trucks to convey the grain to the terminal. Within a few days the silos will be obliged to refuse to take deliveries, because the terminal storage will be completely filled. The Minister of Agriculture stated to-day that he was negotiating with two large wheat merchants for a shipment of about half a million bushels.
