FRENCH WINE CROP.
LOWEST FOR TEN YEARS. Received January 2, 8.5 a.m. PARIS, Jan. 1. Owing to the stormy summer the wine yield is the lowest for ten years; it is equivalent only to two quarts per capita of the population, which is a famine ration. . . The Italians are already shipping large quantities to France, some of which has been excluded on the ground that it is impure.- It is likely that the heavier Algerian types will be largely availed of to meet the deficiency.
