FLIGHT TO PEKIN.
MISS AMY JOHNSON AT LIEGE. Received January 2, 11.40 a.m. LONDON; Jan. 1. A message from Liege states that Miss Amy Johnson landed at Biersete Aerodrome at 4.15 o’clock to-day. The weather was bad. She had followed the Meuse, which guided her to Liege. Miss Johnson had some difficulty in obtaining hotel accommodation for the night, but the problem was solved with the assistance of aerodrome officials. Miss Johnson will continue her flight in the morning.
