WORKERS’ REQUEST FOR CONFERENCE. (From Our Own Correspondent.) SHANNON, Dec. 8. At a meeting of the executive of tho Flaxworkers’ Union, hold at Shannon on Saturday afternoon to consider the flaxmillers’ request for a reduction in the Arbitration Court award of 33 1-3 per cent., it was resolved to ask the millers for a conference as soon as possible.
